Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Demarcation Moving Slowly as Discussions on Various Topics Continue on Forums

As of April 26, the Armenian government has installed 28 border posts on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which is about 35 percent of the planned works. The work of expert groups from both countries is ongoing, as stated by the Armenian side. Yesterday, the government announced that 20 border signs were placed on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. However, there are reports that border demarcation works are not visible near the Kirantsi bridge in the Tavush marz.

Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Parliament, Armen Khachatryan, previously mentioned that the border demarcation process in the Tavush and Kazakh sectors has technically been completed. Despite this progress, there are ongoing discussions and developments surrounding the border adjustments between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
