When is Emma Raducanu playing at Wimbledon today?

Emma Raducanu will face off against Elise Mertens in a bid to advance to the third round at Wimbledon. Raducanu, who won the US Open last year, narrowly defeated Renata Zarazua in her first match at Wimbledon. She described her win as “winning ugly” but acknowledged that Mertens, ranked world No. 33 in singles, poses a much greater challenge for her.

Raducanu said she is focused on enjoying each victory and not letting frustration affect her performance. She has no specific expectations for results and is determined to fight for every point on the court. With no set schedule for the match, Raducanu will wait until it’s time to take the court and give it her all.

The match between Raducanu and Mertens is scheduled as the third match on Court No 1, following Coco Gauff and Carlos Alcaraz’s matches earlier in the day. Play on Court No 1 is expected to start at 1pm, so Raducanu’s match could begin around 4:30 pm or 5 pm depending on any delays or changes in the schedule.

British viewers can catch all of the Wimbledon action on BBC Two with live coverage from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm. Outside courts coverage will be available through BBC Red Button from 11 am to 9 pm throughout the day. Additional live coverage will continue throughout the day with a summary of events airing on “Today at Wimbledon” at 9 pm on BBC Two.

Emma Raducanu had an impressive run at last year’s US Open tournament, where she emerged victorious after defeating several high-profile players before taking down Sloane Stephens in an epic three-set final.

Raducanu has struggled since then, however, with a poor showing at this year’s Australian Open before narrowly escaping elimination against Renata Zarazua in his first match at Wimbledon.

Despite facing tougher opponents like Elise Mertens next up, Raducanu remains confident and focused on giving his best effort on the court.

Mertens, ranked world No. 33 in singles, has had a solid season so far with notable wins over former Grand Slam champions Garbiñe Muguruza and Marion Bartoli.
