Israel orders new evacuation in Khan Younis and Rafah during Gaza War

In response to recent attacks on Israeli soil from the Khan Younis region, the Israeli army has issued a new evacuation order for areas in the southern Gaza Strip. The evacuation was ordered in towns such as al-Qarara and Bani Suheila, located in the east of the two governorates where many Palestinians were previously forced to flee due to fighting.

Residents and displaced persons in the affected areas were urged to evacuate promptly, with witnesses reporting that many had already left after receiving the evacuation order. This comes after 20 projectiles were fired at Israeli soil from the Khan Younis region earlier in the day, with the al-Quds Brigades taking responsibility for the attacks.

The Israeli army has been gradually moving southward in recent months as part of an operation to weaken Hamas, with whom they have been engaged in conflict since 2008. The war began after an attack by Hamas on Israeli soil, resulting in significant casualties on both sides.

This ongoing conflict has led to a significant loss of life, with thousands of Palestinians, mostly civilians, being affected by the violence. The situation remains tense as Israel continues its operations in the region and Hamas remains committed to resisting occupation through armed means.
