Angel Reese receives the title of WNBA Rookie of the Month

Angel Reese, the former LSU women’s basketball star, has quickly gained attention in the WNBA after joining the league. Her impressive play has earned her a spot on the All-Star team alongside rookie standout Caitlin Clark. Reese is currently setting a new WNBA record with 11 consecutive double-doubles and counting.

Not only is she leading the league in double-doubles, but Reese was also awarded WNBA Rookie of the Month honors for her outstanding performance. She is currently averaging a double-double for the season, with impressive stats like 14.5 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in the month of June.
