Newcastle United has officially signed Lewis Hall from Chelsea on a permanent basis, following a successful loan spell last season. The 19-year-old defender has signed a “long-term” contract at St James’ Park after making 22 appearances for the club last season.
Manager Eddie Howe praised Hall’s progress and contribution to the team, stating that the coaching staff have been delighted with his development. As a lifelong Magpies supporter, Hall spoke about the special feeling of playing in the black and white shirt in front of the club’s passionate supporters. He reflected on the experience gained last season and expressed his eagerness to push even further this season with the talented squad.
In an interview with the club’s official website, Hall emphasized the warm welcome he received from everyone at Newcastle United, including fans, manager, and teammates. He expressed his pride in continuing his journey at his boyhood club and thanked everyone for their faith in him.
