Agent Smith from The Matrix franchise joins MultiVersus

MultiVersus, the fighting game that brings together characters from various Warner Bros. franchises, is getting ready to add another iconic villain to its roster. The Matrix series’ Agent Smith will be the next playable character in MultiVersus, showcasing his swift and accurate combat skills in a newly released trailer.

Agent Smith is depicted as a Bruiser-class character, designed to embody his role as the enforcer of the Matrix. Known for his relentless pursuit of Neo and his allies, Agent Smith excels in close-quarters combat and is armed with deadly accuracy in firearms. One of his unique abilities is the power to teleport during battles, allowing him to quickly close the distance between himself and his opponents. Furthermore, he can summon another Agent to aid him in combat, enhancing his already formidable presence on the battlefield.

To celebrate the addition of Agent Smith to MultiVersus, the game is hosting an event called “Break the Rifts, Get Agent Smith for Free.” Starting July 8th, players can participate in this challenge in PvE mode by facing various bosses to earn rewards and unlock Agent Smith as a playable fighter at no cost. This event adds an extra layer of challenge and enjoyment for players while encouraging them to explore further into MultiVersus’ vast universe.

Overall, Warner Bros Games is gearing up to bring one of The Matrix’s most iconic characters into MultiVersus’ fold with its impressive roster of playable fighters.
